Questions
Is every shuffle solvable?
Yes. The board is shuffled with legal moves starting from the finished position, so there is always a way back. A purely random shuffle would be unsolvable half the time.
Can I move several tiles at once?
Yes. Click a tile in the same row or column as the gap and every tile in between slides together. It counts as one move per tile.
What do the arrow keys do?
They push a tile toward the arrow, into the gap, the way your finger would on a real puzzle. Click the board first so the keys reach it.
Is my best time shared with anyone?
No. It stays in this browser on this device, separately for each board size. Clearing site data removes it.
