How to use it
- Press Start Game and move the falling piece with the arrow keys or the buttons.
- Fill a whole row with no gaps to clear it; clear four at once for a Tetris.
- Use Hold to save a piece for later and check the shadow to see where it will land.
Questions
How is the next piece chosen?
Pieces come from a shuffled bag of all seven shapes, so you never wait long for the long I piece.
How is the score worked out?
One row is 100 points, two 300, three 500 and four 800, multiplied by the level. T-spins, back-to-back clears and combos add more, and every 10 lines raises the level.
Does Tetris remember my best score?
Only in this browser on this device. Nothing is sent anywhere, and clearing site data removes it.
Does the game pause by itself?
Yes. If you switch tabs or windows it pauses, so you come back to the same board. Press P or Esc to pause at any time.
