Click to open, right-click or press F to flag, and click a number to open its neighbours. On touch, press and hold to flag. Best times are saved on this device.
How to use it
- Pick a board size and click any square to start. The first click is always safe.
- Use the numbers to find the mines and flag them with a right-click, the F key or the Flag button.
- Open every square that has no mine to win and set a best time.
Questions
Is the first click always safe?
Yes. The mines are placed after your first click, and the square you clicked and its neighbours stay clear.
What happens when I click a number?
If the flags around it match the number, the remaining neighbours open at once. A wrongly placed flag still sets off a mine, so check before you chord.
How do I flag a square on a phone?
Press and hold the square, or switch the tap action to Flag above the board.
Where is my best time stored?
Only in this browser on this device, separately for each board size. Clearing site data removes it.
