Questions
Why does my scanned PDF give no table?
A scan is a picture, so there is no text to read. Run it through OCR first, then convert the result.
How are numbers like 1.234,56 handled?
Pick how numbers are written in your PDF (1,234.56 or 1.234,56). Recognised numbers become real numbers in Excel, while codes with a leading zero stay text so nothing is lost.
Why are some columns shifted?
A PDF has no real table, only text at positions. Merged cells or text that wraps inside a cell can split across columns, so check the preview and tidy the sheet in Excel.
What happens to a table that spans several pages?
Export all pages as one table. With the repeated-header option, title lines that repeat at the top of each page are kept only once.
