Questions
How small will my PDF get?
It depends on the file. Scans and PDFs full of photos shrink the most, while a PDF that is mostly text may not shrink at all. The result shows the real size before and after.
Why can’t I select text after compressing?
Each page is redrawn as a picture to save space, so the text becomes part of the image. Keep your original if you need to copy or search the text.
What happens if the PDF cannot get smaller?
The tool tells you and downloads nothing, so your original stays exactly as it is. Try a lower quality.
Does compressing upload my PDF anywhere?
No. The file is compressed on this page and never leaves your device.
