Questions
How do I skip the cover page when numbering?
Tick the box to skip the first page. The first page that gets a number then carries the start number, so with start 1 the second page of the file shows 1.
Can I number only some pages, or start from another number?
Yes. Type a range such as 3-10 to number only those pages, and set any start number from 0 up. A 1 / 10 style counts the numbered pages only.
Do the numbers land in the right place on rotated pages?
Yes. The position is measured on the page as you see it, so a scanned page stored sideways still gets its number in the chosen corner.
Does adding page numbers upload my PDF?
No. The numbers are written into the file on this page and the PDF never leaves your device. The original file is left untouched.
