Questions
How many pages can I fit on one sheet?
You can put 2, 4, 6 or 9 pages on a sheet. Two and six per sheet turn the paper sideways, because that gives each page more room than stacking them on an upright sheet.
Does the page order follow reading order?
Yes. Pages fill each sheet from left to right and then from top to bottom, so page 1 sits top left. A last sheet with fewer pages is left partly empty.
Will small text still be readable at 9 per sheet?
Each page is shrunk to fit its cell without stretching, so 9 per sheet gets small. Check the preview and use 4 per sheet for slides with a lot of text.
Can I print the result straight away?
Yes. The new PDF has one sheet per group of pages, in the paper size you chose, so print it at normal size without further scaling. Your original file is not changed.
