Questions
How does the automatic crop find the margin?
It looks at the pages for the area that holds text or images and cuts the empty border around it, the same on every page so the text does not jump. You choose how much margin to leave.
Does cropping delete what is outside the box?
No. Cropping only changes the visible area, so the cut-off part is hidden but still inside the file. Do not rely on a crop to remove private details.
What does fit to paper size do with mixed pages?
Every page is placed on a sheet of the paper you pick, shrunk to fit if it is larger and never enlarged. Wide pages can get a landscape sheet so a table is not squeezed.
Why does the preview show only one page?
The preview shows the page you select with the arrows. The same margins are applied to every page when you save, scaled to each page size.
