Questions
Why is my GIF so large?
A GIF stores every frame as a picture, so length, width and frame rate all multiply the size. Shorten the clip first, then lower the width. Under 15 seconds and about 480 px wide is a good start.
What frame rate should I pick?
10 frames per second suits talking and screen recordings, and 15 suits fast movement. More frames look smoother but make the file larger.
Does a GIF keep the sound?
No, a GIF has no sound. Use Video to MP3 if you want the audio as a separate file.
Is my video uploaded to make the GIF?
No. The GIF is made on this page and the video stays on your device.
