Questions
Why is there no sound from my computer?
The browser shares system sound only when you tick the share-audio box in its prompt, and only for a tab, or for the whole screen on Windows and ChromeOS. Turn on the microphone option to add your voice.
Does it work on phones and tablets?
No. Phone and tablet browsers do not allow screen sharing. Use your device's built-in screen recorder, then open the file in Trim Video or Compress Video.
Which file format do I get?
Chrome, Edge and Firefox save WebM, and Safari saves MP4. A WebM can be converted to MP4 on this page when an older app or a chat needs it.
Is my recording uploaded?
No. The recording is made and kept on your device, and it disappears when you close the tab unless you download it.
