How does title case treat small words?
Every word gets a capital first letter. Small words such as of or the are not left lowercase, so check headings against your style guide.
How are camelCase and snake_case words found?
Words are split at spaces, punctuation, underscores, hyphens and at lower-to-upper changes, so XMLHttpRequest becomes XML, Http and Request.
What happens to special letters?
They follow Unicode rules. For example, the German ß becomes SS in uppercase, and accented letters keep their accents.
