Time zone converter

Your own time zone and the current time are filled in. Change either one and every city updates.

What you enter stays on this page and is not sent anywhere.

Enter a date and a time to see the conversion.

How to use it

  1. Choose the time zone, the date and the time you start from.
  2. Add the cities or zones you want to compare.
  3. Read the local time in each one. A note shows when the date changes.

Questions

Does it handle daylight saving time?

Yes. Each result uses the offset that applies on the date you chose, so a summer and a winter date can give different differences.

What if the time does not exist or happens twice?

When clocks jump forward, a time in the skipped hour is moved ahead by the gap. When clocks go back, the first of the two matching times is used. A note tells you.

Where do the zones come from?

They come from the IANA time zone database built into your browser, so the list and the rules match your device and its updates.
