How long should a password be?
Longer is stronger. If you paste passwords from a password manager, 16 characters or more is a comfortable choice.
Why leave out look-alike characters?
Letters like l, I and 1, or O and 0, are easy to mix up when you read a password aloud or copy it by hand.
